An Open Letter to Incumbents and Challengers Running for Elective Office
Ladies and Gentlemen:
Before assuming office as a member of the U.S. Senate or House, each elected member must take a solemn oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution and to defend America against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
The authority to govern is contingent on fulfilling that oath. All Senators and Representatives serve at the will of We the People; they have no other source of power.
Illegal immigration is a major problem in the United States that impacts our defenses against terrorism and costs U.S. taxpayers billions of dollars each year.
Americans want our elected representatives in the House and Senate to save America from the flood of illegal aliens that is threatening to destroy our great nation.
The influx of illegal aliens is mostly from Mexico, a third world Socialist nation. Because of corruption, greed, and incompetence, Mexico is unable to feed, house, educate, and provide minimal health care to its citizens.
Rather than reforming the political and economic policies that make
Mexico a failure, the elitist socialists there encourage their poor, uneducated peasants to migrate illegally to America.
They do so with the expectation that American wealth, provided by U.S.
taxpayers, will be redistributed to the invading aliens who, in turn,
will send billions of dollars back to Mexico each year.
Mexico’s corrupt leaders also count on U.S. taxpayers to provide health care, education and other public services to millions of Mexican criminals that have been dumped illegally on the U.S. side of the border.
This outrageous exploitation of American taxpayers and blatant
disregard for the rule of law makes Mexico an enemy of America.
In addition to the obvious harm to America's economic and cultural stability,
invading illegal aliens diminish the effectiveness of U.S. homeland security,
making American citizens more vulnerable to terrorist attacks.
Ladies and gentlemen, this issue is not rocket science. In fact, it is
quite simple: Mexico is an enemy of America! Immediate action must be taken to protect the American people from the undeclared war being waged against our nation by Mexico.
First things first: The single greatest priority is to secure our
borders. If that means deploying 100,000 armed troops to the border,
then that should be done immediately!
Troops guarding the border should be authorized to use whatever force needed to keep illegal aliens out. That must include the use of lethal force if necessary to secure U.S. borders.
Once U.S. borders are secure, America needs to deal with the 12-20 million
illegal aliens currently sponging off taxpayers in America.
In this regard, the bill passed by the U.S. Senate in May is essentially
amnesty for criminals. Although called “guest worker,” everyone understands
that, in fact, the Senate bill is about amnesty.
Regardless of what it is called, amnesty is totally unacceptable
because it would only encourage even more illegal immigration.
For example, the amnesty enacted in 1986 was a monumental mistake. That bill was supposed to end unlawful invasions, but in the 20 years since the bill was signed into law, 20 million additional aliens have crossed our borders illegally.
Americans often brag that our Democracy works because we are a nation
of laws. However, a nation dedicated to living under the rule of law
simply can not reward criminal behavior, which is exactly what the
Senate bill would do.
Much has been made of the fact that illegal aliens are forced to live
as second-class citizens, in the shadows as it were. However, that is not the concern of law-abiding Americans!
Illegal aliens are criminals, and should not be comfortable while they are hiding in America.
The bottom line message to our representatives and those wishing to be: Secure our borders, deport illegal aliens, and enforce existing immigration laws!
And do so immediately.
Or, forget about serving in the U.S. Congress.
