Whither Muslim Apologies for Global Terrorism?

Whither Muslim Apologies for Global Terrorism?

As the Holy War between Pope Benedict XVI and Islamofascists rages on, some Muslims and American leftists are demanding an immediate apology from the Pope.

For his part, the pontiff has said that he "sincerely regrets" offending Muslims with his reference to an obscure medieval text that characterizes some of the teachings of Islam's founder as "evil and inhuman," the Vatican said Saturday.

Thank goodness the pontiff’s statement was not a bowl of bloody mush crafted to placate politically correct double talkers. If American Democrats had written the statement for the Pope, it would read something like this:

“I deeply regret my simple-minded, bigoted error. There is a vast right-wing conspiracy here in Rome, and they sometimes cause me to forget that 'Our diversity is our greatest strength!’ Islam is a Religion of Peace that provides a model of compassion, humility, and spiritual reflection for people of all faiths to follow. The world needs and appreciates all Muslims. Praise be to Allah!“

Of course, Pope Benedict XVI said no such thing because papal messages are not written by irresponsible Democrats these days. And that is a good thing!

Speaking of apologies for offensive behavior, my computer has apparently been hacked. This is true because I recently conducted a search for public apologies from Muslim leaders pertaining to 9/11, the attack on the USS Cole, the terrorist attacks in Spain and England, the riots in France, the 1993 attack on the WTC in the United States, and other Muslim atrocities in recent years.

Would you believe that my search came up empty? Nothing coming close to “Sorry” from CAIR or any of our alleged Muslim allies.

With one exception: Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal handed Mayor Giuliani a check for $10 million dollar as an expression of Saudi sympathy for the victims of the 9/11 attack.

Unfortunately, the prince also released a written statement in which he essentially blamed U.S. support for Israel as the root cause of 9/11. Mayor Giuliani did the morally correct thing by returning the check. Go here:

Where are all those missing Muslim apologies for global terrorism?
