Hillary Care Cured Slick's Addiction?

By John W. Lillpop

Ten years ago, in January of 1998, the world was disgusted, but not completely surprised, when the sexual misconduct of President Clinton was disclosed on the Drudge Report.

Clinton's initial reaction to the "Mother of All Bimbo Eruptions" was a bold faced lie when he said, "I did not have sex with that woman..." while wagging his finger and squinting his eyes in anger.

Thanks to American patriot Linda Tripp, the truth eventually emerged: President Bill Clinton used the Oval Office of the White House to engage in illicit sex with a 25-year old intern, for his own selfish sexual pleasure.

Any other mortal person in business, academia, or government accused of the conduct that President Clinton visited upon the subordinate intern would have been charged with harassment and immediately fired.

But liberals, and feminists in particular, quickly jumped to Slick's defense by alleging that the Clinton- Lewinsky Oval Office tryst was a private, consensual matter, not worthy of public attention.

In other words, the fact that the most powerful man in the world had used his intimidating power to secure sexual favors from a lowly and very young intern was unimportant to the left.

And what about that 25-year old intern and the impact on her life and future?

That was apparently not a concern, because, after all, the sexual predator was a liberal Democrat!

Fast forward to 2008: Reporter David Shuster states that 27-year-old Chelsea Clinton had been "Pimped Out" to campaign for her mother, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Shuster's off hand remarks were immediately seized upon by Hillary Clinton, who said, “I found the remarks incredibly offensive.” Clinton also sent a letter to NBC brass that called for swift action against Shuster, who was suspended Friday by MSNBC.

To her credit, Hillary Clinton seems to appreciate the importance of shielding a 27-year old young lady from abuse, even when such abuse is only verbal.

Pity that President Bill Clinton did not have the same sort of respect and regard for 25-year old Monica Lewinsky 10 years ago!
