America Needs for Sen. Joe Lieberman to Act NOW!

By John W. Lillpop

Earlier this year, Senator Joe Lieberman hinted that he might consider switching political parties if his Democrat colleagues moved in a manner that could damage America's chances to win the war on terror.

Here:

We now know that Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have done their level best to sabotage President Bush and America's troops with a series of reckless, irresponsible, and mindless pieces of legislation.

To make matters even worse, on April 23, Harry Reid proudly announced that the House and Senate bills would be reconciled and would call for the unilateral withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, starting in October of this year and concluding six months later.

This hideous bit of anti-American stupidity is fresh on the heels of Reid's foolish "This war is lost" comment last week.

Reid's co-conspirator in treason, sedition, and incompetence is the confused, inept and dangerous Nancy Pelosi. This San Francisco outcast took the unprecedented step of visiting Syria's President Assad against the publicly stated wishes of America's commander-in-chief and president.

It is abundantly clear that Democrats have borrowed the Viet Nam Surrender Template used by their brethren and sisters from 35 years ago. In their feeble minds, George W. Bush is just another Richard Nixon, sans Watergate!

All of which leads to an urgent call for Joe Lieberman to act immediately!

If Lieberman were to authorize an R next to his name, control of the Senate would revert back to the Republicans, with Vice President Cheney's holding the tie-breaking vote.

Please Mr. Lieberman, act now so that at least the United States Senate can be rescued from the hands of the enemy and returned to people who love and respect America!

Act now so that the idiotic mutterings of Harry Reid are no longer broadcast to the world as the "words of the most powerful man in the U.S. Senate!"

Act now in the best interests of the American people!

John Lillpop is a recovering liberal.
